| Wildlife
A must for the nature enthusiast, all of our trips combine breathtaking
scenery and the opportunity to encounter our creatures in their
natural habitat. We encourage our passengers to become fully involved
in the nature-watching experience by stopping the boat frequently,
enabling everyone to quietly observe.
Bottlenose Dolphins
Jersey’s waters are home to the largest population of breeding
Bottlenose dolphins in the British Isles. Although we have been
privileged to see these beautiful and enchanting creatures on
many occasions, sightings cannot be guaranteed, so we respect
the fact that any appearances are made on their own terms.
We follow the guidelines set down by the Whale and Dolphin Conservation
Society.

Seabirds
Seabirds commonly seen around the coast of Jersey are Cormorants,
Shags, Oystercatchers, Gannets, Egrets and, Herons. The South
and North coasts, as well as being home to kestrels, are inhabited
by two pairs of Peregrine Falcons. During their breeding season
(April to July) we are visited by a small group of puffins who
nest on Jersey’s North coast.
Pilot Whales
Measuring 5-6 metres (16-19 ft) Pilot Whales are most often seen
in local waters between August and January.
Atlantic Grey Seals
A small number of Atlantic Grey seals have taken up residence
in the waters at the Écrehous and Minquiers and can be seen
regularly.
